SnoBear is a winter recreation vehicle like you’ve never seen before. The
fact that it doesn’t fit into any existing class of vehicles is just one example
of the innovation. SnoBear is NOT a snowmobile, it is NOT a car, and it’s
not a boat, yet it demonstrates characteristics of all 3. SnoBear IS a
recreational vehicle designed for ice fishing and a whole lot more. For fishing,
SnoBear can travel across the lake at 24mph. It drives as simply as a car
complete with automatic transmission, power steering and disc brakes.
When you reach your fishing spot, the flip of a switch lowers the unit 14
inches down to the ice. The RV type furnace and insulated cabin provide
all the comforts of home; and when you’re ready to sleep just drop the
bunks down and spend the night. And since safety is everyone's concern,
the SnoBear was designed with yet another innovative feature. The
composite body design actually allows the vehicle to float!
